Carl and the Überfreak

Messenger Carl Harris, better known as "Chopper Carl", has adopted the Überfreak as his everyday transportation and delivery vehicle. The qualities he most appreciates include the wide racks, the short wheelbase, and the tiny turning radius. As a messenger, he likes the fact that the low center of gravity seems to almost completely prevent the bike from tipping, even when loaded unevenly.
The Ghetto Grocer

Here's a trailer that took on the name "Ghetto Grocer" somewhere in its infancy.
Pictured is Ben M. after taking a turn pulling a 90 lb. air compressor and some other equipment his dad was kind enough to lend out for some landscaping work.
You can catch a glimpse of it being used to haul "100 pounds of sound" in last year's Mexican Independence Day parade in Little Village. Being towed by a hand-cycle, no less! Clickee here:

This trailer is now used by owner Anne A. to haul groceries and gardening supplies to her home in the Beverly neighborhood-- stand by for trailer tales and some of Anne's beautiful photography documenting her experiences.
